Gifts

Picture with me know....
One child - Seven days - One set of parents - Three sets of grandparents - Two sets of greatgrandparents - Five uncles - Four aunts - One greataunt - and a couple of dear close friends........all of which have a gift for him........he started asking today, can we go to so and so's house incase "they" have a gift for me??!!?? - WHAT?

Now that many gifts in that short amount of days - well even a non-rocket scientist, redneck cousin of Sam your mailman would know, that's disaster!

Each day of gifts is a disaster - his room is a disaster - my house is a disaster.....and on a day, that does not involve gifts (TODAY) for him - but his uncle gets gifts due to his birthday...what happens? What could possibly go wrong?

Let's see - we walk into the restaurant, he climbs into the booth - about a whole of 10 seconds pass and it begins
- crying, yelling, his crayon wasn't the right color, his paper was wrinkled, his 2 didn't look the the 2 in the menu (OH MY GOODNESS!) the nuggets weren't circles but dinosaurs, he got corn not frenchfries (HE ASKED FOR CORN) uncle teased him, mom's upset, dad's dealing with sister not sitting, grandma is wondering what on earth could be wrong....what possibly could upset a four year old this much - so he yelled at her....(DID SHE FORGET ABOUT RAISING 3 BOYS????????) - then Mom started the count - 1.......he himmed and hawwed....2 - then it stopped....one moment, in a flash all fret was gone, all tears dried in an instant.....don't even think about letting mom get to 3 - oh no, not that terrible THREE.

Tomorrow is day 7 of gifts - I so love this time of year.
